When I’m feeling stressed, tired, and busy I always come back to one of the best questions I’ve ever been asked:
Am I saying “no” to enough things so that I can be faithful to the things that are most important to me?
When I stop to reflect on what is truly important, the people I hold most dear, the dreams I am chasing… it very quickly becomes clear where I’m missing the mark.
It’s a tough question to ask because I don’t typically like the answer. But by staying grounded, reminding myself of the type of person I intend to be, and reflecting on the ways I’m using my time… my life quickly becomes less cluttered.
